Bélanger Paradis Avocats
Our firm was founded in 2015 by Me Jean-Raymond Paradis and Me Hugo Legault Bélanger, both of whom have been practicing in civil litigation and construction law since the beginning of their respective careers.
Construction law is an integral part of our daily lives. We work exclusively in this field, which has allowed us, over time, to develop unique skills and innovative solutions in order to support our clients in their legal procedures.
Building a business relationship sustainable with our customers, based on trust, honesty and integrity
Our team
Since 2006, Jean-Raymond has worked in private practice exclusively in construction law. His practice allows him to advise and represent before the courts, both general and specialized contractors as well as project owners, individuals and warranty plan administrators. His experience in construction law allowed him to occupy the position of director of the legal department of Qualité Habitation from 2013 to 2015.
He also acts as a speaker on several topics related to construction law. Whether it is on obligations under the Civil Code, bonds, late fees, the liability of contractors, the interpretation of CCDC contracts, the regulation on the guarantee plan for developers and general contractors as well as the training necessary to obtain an entrepreneur's license from the RBQ for the legal aspects for members of regional ACQ.
His pragmatic approach and his ability to make legal aspects accessible to his client allow him to establish a relationship of trust.
